Chronic Illness Therapy
Build a meaningful life alongside chronic illness and chronic pain
My Approach
My approach to working with chronic illness and chronic pain is integrative, relational, and grounded in both clinical training and lived understanding. I draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to help clients build psychological flexibility and reconnect with meaning alongside difficult symptoms, Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy to support emotional processing, self-compassion, and deeper healing through connection, and Internal Family Systems to explore the protective parts that emerge around pain, fear, shame, or overwhelm. I also work from a relational lens, recognizing that chronic illness affects not only the body, but identity, relationships, nervous system functioning, and the way people experience themselves in the world.
