Couples & Relationship Therapy

Helping people build stronger, safer, and more connected relationships

Many couples come to therapy feeling stuck in painful cycles they do not fully understand. Conversations become repetitive or emotionally charged, partners feel unheard or disconnected, and even small interactions can carry deep hurt. Some people feel lonely inside their relationship despite deeply loving one another. Others are navigating conflict around communication, intimacy, parenting, trust, chronic stress, life transitions, or the lingering impact of past experiences and attachment wounds.

In our work together, I help clients slow down interactions that may feel overwhelming or repetitive and develop new ways of listening, communicating, and responding to one another. Therapy becomes a space where both people can feel heard without interruption, criticism, or dismissal. Rather than focusing on who is right or wrong, we focus on understanding the emotional meaning underneath reactions and patterns.

My Approach

My work is grounded primarily in Imago Relationship Therapy, a relational approach that helps people move beyond blame, defensiveness, and reactivity toward deeper understanding and connection. Imago Therapy is based on the idea that our closest relationships often activate unresolved emotional experiences and unmet needs from earlier in life. While this can create distress and conflict, it also creates the possibility for growth, healing, and more intentional connection.
